About Me

Hi! I'm Eduarda, an Informatics Engineer and Computer Science student at Universidade do Porto.

With a strong foundation in Computer Informatics Engineering, I have developed a versatile skill set that enables me to navigate both technical and creative domains. My academic journey, coupled with hands-on experience, has shaped my problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and leadership skills, allowing me to thrive in both collaborative and independent environments.

Beyond academics, I have actively contributed to student organizations such as AEFEUP, NIAFEUP, and ENEI, where I have taken on key roles in event organization, social impact initiatives, and digital content creation. These experiences have strengthened my ability to coordinate projects, foster community engagement, and communicate effectively in diverse settings.

Driven by my passion for technology and innovation, I continuously explore emerging trends such as low-level programming, computer architecture, and database management, as well as advancements in big data analytics, blockchain, IoT, and machine learning. My interest in systems optimization and data-driven solutions fuels my motivation to develop efficient, scalable, and high-performance applications.

I am committed to continuous learning and professional growth, always seeking new challenges that allow me to expand my expertise and make a positive impact in both my field and society.

  • Logistics Team Member
    ENEI – Encontro Nacional de Estudantes de Informática

    Securing partnerships for meal services and other logistics-related needs during the event.

    Enhancing coordination and communication skills in a hands-on environment.

    Contributing directly to the success of the event by ensuring smooth operational execution.

  • Member of the Cooperation and Social Action Department
    AEFEUP – Associação de Estudantes da Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto

    Initially part of the Advertisement and Design Department, later transitioned to the Cooperation Department.

    Organizing both internal and external events for AEFEUP, including initiatives supporting Erasmus students and other student-focused programs.

    Facilitating communication between AEFEUP’s student groups (núcleos) and analyzing student feedback to improve services and activities.

  • Member of Communications & Image Departments
    NIAEFEUP – Núcleo de Informática da Associação de Estudantes da Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto

    Contributed to the development of the Uni Mobile App and the AEFEUP website, working with modern technologies in hands-on environments.

    Supporting the Communications Department by promoting events, projects, and initiatives through social media, posters, emails, and school visits.

    Involved in producing graphic content and managing the visual identity of NIAEFEUP, ensuring UI/UX of projects aligns with design standards.

    Assisting with social media content creation and development of course-related merchandise.

  • 1st Year Student Body Representative
    Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto

    Elected to represent a cohort of approximately 300 students, fostering communication between students and professors.

    Ensured students’ voices were heard, concerns addressed, and actively participated in discussions and initiatives to enhance the academic experience.

    Balanced advocacy responsibilities with academic and extracurricular commitments, developing resilience, teamwork, and leadership skills.
